ERIC SCHMIDT

President

Eric started his rocket career at the Air Force Rocket Propulsion Lab at Edwards AFB where he honed his skills testing rocket engine technologies, components and systems for 10 years.

As a co-founder, he is actively involved in technology development, facility design and operations, and the day-to-day management of Exquadrum. He is the first-generation son of immigrants from Argentina.

KEVIN MAHAFFY

Chief Executive Officer

Kevin’s passion is for innovating new rocket propulsion technologies. He worked leading edge technology throughout his ten years at the Air Force Rocket Propulsion Lab at Edwards AFB where he served as the Branch Chief over solid rocket motors.

Kevin co-founded Exquadrum, Inc. in December of 2002. Since that time, he has served as the principal investigator on over 60 research and development projects.

ELIAS WILSON

Director of Engineering

Elias has worked at Exquadrum since 2004, when he graduated from Cal Poly Pomona. He went on to earn his Master’s Degree at the University of Southern Caifornia. As part of the Exquadrum team, Elias has worked on a wide variety of solid, liquid, and hybrid propulsion technologies. Elias also teaches structures, wind tunnel testing, feedback controls, and MATLAB programming part-time at Cal Poly Pomona in the Aerospace Department.

MATT JONES

Director of Business Development

Matt has over 30 years of experience in the Aerospace industry, almost all of which has been in the development of rocket propulsion technology. Matt grew up in South Lake Tahoe, Ca and graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S in Aerospace Engineering, with an emphasis in propulsion. He worked for 12 years for the Air Force Research Laboratory, at Edwards AFB.

In 2001 he began an 18-year career at Aerojet. His duties at Aerojet remained predominantly in liquid propulsion, with focus on systems engineering and project engineering tasks. Matt also holds a Master Black Belt certification in Design for Six Sigma.

BRIAN BOWERS

Director of Operations

Brian Bowers is a High Desert Native, graduating from Apple Valley High School and then joining the Marine Corps Reserve serving one combat tour in Iraq. He attended San Diego State University receiving a Degree in Communications.

Brian has 20 years of general, government and federal construction experience, and an assorted background in administrative, management and security roles, including Site Safety Officer, Quality Control Manager, Site Superintendent and Project Manager.
